Kwan Yin, the revered goddess of mercy and compassion is lovingly depicted in stunning gold vermeil.
Kwan Yin, Tara, Mary, Guadalupe no matter what you call her she is one in the same the bodhisattva of compassion. Kwan Yin is depicted here standing on a lotus blossom with her vase containing endless compassion in her right hand and her left hand in a mudra (hand gesture) conveying compassion. On the reverse is a prayer to Kwan Yin in Kanji characters.
